Full name: Jace Edward Hykaway
Age: 17 yrs, 18 next May
Country: Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada
Why you would like to be a GM?
I believe I would be an asset to the WarzoneWoW community both because of my large availability and North American timezone, which I noticed is in dire need. As soon as Crono logs off most hackers seem to come out right away and ruin things for everyone. My play times are between 6:30-8 AM and 4 PM - 12 AM daily (barring a conflict with my job).
Not only those playtimes, I also have prior GM experience with my own private server I ran close-knit with several friends and have ascent command experience as well as basic javascript and HTML programming knowledge.
I currently reside in the horde raiding everything I can(If i was a GM i wouldnt use my powers to kill things or get extra gold) . On a daily basis I help those seek proper gear, enchants, and give a few pointers on what to look for in order to maximize their impact on raiding. If needed I will switch over to Alliance, I really dont mind what race I am just as long as I get to play the server^^
I am soon gonna donate because this server is AMAZING and I LOVE IT!!!
Why should I pick you for the position?
As I previously mentioned, not only do I have a great availability slot, but also the know-how and patience to deal with a community at its own throat because of the constant hack attacks etc.
I believe this would be an asset as although I don't have the longest fuse around, I'm extremely patient when need be, yet at the same time I don't generally take crap from anyone.
have played WoW since its first release in 2004. I have a lot of retail experience and I’m very knowledgeable on the playing mechanics of all the classes and their respective races. I research as much as I can about the game in order to help others if it is needed.
I'm quick to learn any skills required of me and my service to the community and often help out players just for the sheer necessity of doing so, if one person tells their friends about this server then it could keep going, all it starts with is a few nice players promoting the positives about the server and trying to help deal with the hackers.
How often are you on and what time zone do you live in?
Currently I play around 6:30-8 AM and 4 PM - 12 AM and possibly even later on weekends. My time zone is -6H GMT.
Anything else you would like to put in (This is the most important.)?
I possess basic Javascript and HTML knowledge, and will soon be working with LUA (as a student) and possibly C++, granted I won't be the most knowledgeable on the subjects I could possibly provide some help.
I have a microphone, ventrillo, MSN, AIM, Yahoo (hardly used however).
I have a part time job scheduled at random (lately haven't had much work) which could conflict with some of my previously mentioned play times, but only by several hours.
I also have knowledge of Ascent GM commands (although I haven't operated a private server since 2.3) and am quick to learn any necessary skills required of myself.
Some of the basic GM commands are:
.gmon
.repairitems
.dismount
.demorph
.gps
.start
.kill (kills selection)
.showitems
.additem (Item ID#)
.app
.rec p (Location name here)
.cheat Status
.cheat cooldown
.cheat casttime
.cheat power
.cheat god
.cheat fly
.mod level
.mod speed
.mod gold
.mod scale
Hope you liked my GM app!!! |
